Martha Lavin, MSW, LICSW (she/her)
Licensed Provider

I’m a Korean-adopted, cis-hetero woman and have lived in the Midwest for most of my life. I am passionate about social justice which influenced my decision to become a social worker. In the first year of my grad program, I interned at an adoption agency working with international programs. After my internship, I was hired as a foster care and waiting child specialist for the domestic program. This experience motivated me as a transracial adoptee to explore my "roots" so I moved to Seoul, Korea right after I graduated with my MSW. It was my first trip back to Korea since my adoption as an infant. There were many challenges, but I was fortunate to connect with other Korean-adopted folks and experience a sense of community and belonging while making lifelong friends.

Licensed Provider

Hi! I am a licensed therapist who welcomes movement, curiosity, and laughter into sessions. Building trust is a starting place in my work and I strive to develop an authentic relationship with each of my clients as we work together towards relief and integration. My therapeutic approach is influenced by Somatic Experiencing, Attachment Theory, Parts Work, and Health at Every Size.

As a white cisgender provider, I acknowledge the impact of social and historical trauma on our experience of life and actively participate in my own deconstruction through somatic work and cultural humility. I invite discussion of lineage, race, gender, sexuality, size and ability into my therapeutic work with clients.

I am a recent graduate of the Master of Social Work program at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. In my practice, I work to collaborate with folks in their healing journeys, that is grounded in intersectionality and nuance. I strive to foster a therapeutic environment that is non-judgmental, affirming, and takes a client-centered, holistic, strengths-based approach where we can learn with and from one another. I hope to support folks in exploring their identities, experiences, and ways to live more aligned to their truths, values, and whole selves. I am also trained in Brainspotting to support folks who want another/different way to process their experiences and work towards their healing journeys.

As an able-bodied, queer, second generation Korean American, POC, I am looking forward to connecting and working with you in all our complexities and histories with respect and humility.

Sarah Ahn Lentz, MA, LMFT (she/her)
Licensed Provider

I offer therapy for people looking for compassion, accountability, & even humor in their therapy journey. Leaning into my own life experiences, I aim to be radically curious about your unique perspectives and adaptations to life’s challenges. Through conversation we will examine patterns, explore values, clarify emotions, and sit with the complexity and duality within each person and the world around us. I welcome open conversations about race, gender, class, power, & sexuality. I invite exploration of how history, systems, and forces like current events & pop culture shape your life and inform your mental health & relationships.

My work is based in Experiential, Bowenian, and Feminist schools of family therapy. I am a liberation-focused, relational-cultural therapist that incorporates somatics, IFS, & play therapy concepts in my work with clients of all ages. I am also trained in Brainspotting for folks seeking a non-traditional way to free themselves from trauma & emotional stress.

Hello! Some of the identities I carry are being queer, white, cis-gendered and able bodied. I approach therapy with a blend of practical tools and psychoeducation to make mental health more accessible, as well as guiding deeper self reflections and insights to create meaningful change. I have trained in IFS therapy (internal family systems, also known as “parts work”) which informs my practice, as well as a restorative justice framework, existentialism, attachment, experiential therapy and queer theory. I approach therapy with curiosity and warmth as well as a good sense of humor. I completed my masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University.
